Everything I just said is true this season is utterly insane like I compare this to like Avengers endgame in this year like don’t do that y’all took the risk. They’re like look it’s not the same as Adventures endgame this is like 20 years of storytelling.
No, It’s just in the sheer insanity of y’all went that round like I thought y’all gonna go this way but y’all went that way. I love seeing what this season did I love seeing the boundaries it push the way. Alright, I don’t know where to even begin an overall theme of this season is Sabrina’s fight for hell. I think that’s one of the weaker parts of the season I really enjoyed what was happening but it got distracting like all this stuff for Sabrina fighting for like hell. She has to do some trials with this guy named Caliban.
She’s going to like looking for like Vlad the Impaler stuff dealing with Judas like there was a lot she deals with but it almost feels secondary to what she’s dealing with the carnival what the other characters are dealing with that’s something. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3 Spoiler. I was kind of disappointed to see like she’s battling our Lord fighting the pagans doing all this.
They’re like the race for the hell throne is like kind of the second the B story that was where I was a little confused about I still enjoyed it the stuff with Caliban. He’s a great character one of the new ones made out of clay so sexy the way he interacts with Sabrina. She needed a new villainous kind of male role in her life with like Father Blackwood just going off crazy trying to raise Cthulhu or whatever.
He’s doing I don’t know what father Blackwood is doing in this movie but Oh or in this season. He is insane like he is time jumped he is like a crazy old man now raising the twins are like teenagers. Now, There’s a lot going over there we will talk about that but basically, what Sabrina not having him around she needs more characters to deal with in a villainous way.
We have the Dark Lord who was her father who is trapped inside Nicolas scratches body and then he’s out of Nick’s scratches body Nick’s scratching him have the most homoerotic beef together so all Sabrina has to deal with all of that while also having to hear about this carnival rolling into town.
How they’re manipulating her friends turns to stone at one point everything goes insane and Sabrina’s like. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3 Spoiler. I’m just here like looking for this like cute like a little trinket. I’m like girl what are we doing like go fight something go do something stop trying to do this but then it became a plot point we have Harvey going like a girl all of this happening.
I think it’s Dorian Gray somebody Ambrose even maybe who is just like you were doing all of this but forgetting for the family for getting the coven forgetting the people you should be protecting. I really enjoy that because I thought that was a major issue. I had with this season of like oh we’re really not letting Sabrina do all of this but they called her out on that and that’s such smart writing this the script this season is so fun so entertaining but still so smart so everything progressed is something further even stuff for next season.
They’re progressing they do well here but they wrap up everything here almost everything like father Blackwood like raises like a Cthulhu monster maybe who knows he goes to like Loch Ness. It’s a bubble with a monster in it that can maybe time-travel. I could swallow that more for you guys but I don’t know what the hell that storyline was that was the weirdest.
One I think this whole season in my non-spoiler review. I talked about the last three episodes of this show being insane and I was not lying it just basically goes insane with the moment. You know how Wardwell and madam Satan are like separating our Ward well is here. She’s her own woman again and it’s very confusing and we have Lilith manipulating her with the Dark Lord manipulating her she basically gets manipulated into shooting Zelda all-girls Zelda gets shot.
I’m like they’re gonna bring her back all of this is happening we have everyone search dying father Blackwood comes back into this season with authority the Dark Lord is inside of him now he is having a lot to do yeah Nick scratches is no longer like the Harbinger the vessel for the Dark Lord.
He gets sent to father Blackwood which was really interesting. I’m like okay oh no you were like stopping people we got like Agatha and Dorcas going crazy they kill each other off they one of them kills prudence all of this is happening and Sabrina finds a way to the time loop.
We have a time loop we also have a time skip I think we go ten years into the future where Ambrose is a crazy man living in a whole the whole carnival pagan festival when insane the Dark Lord was battling. Everyone, There’s a massive time jump with a lot that happens in between it but we really don’t get to see but it’s still there and Sabrina’s dealing with all of that so all of this is happening we have our girls Zelda shot things are starting to come back together.
Zelda comes back to life stabbed through the chest by a back what we bring back to our girl and then kills her again these last three episodes. I the second to last one I just was so stressed in the best way this show made me feel everything that they were doing with this season how they were doing the story.
I knew things would get resolved in some type of way and we had all of our witches coming together chanting to Hecate and just giving me. Everything, I love that I mean Zelda I couldn’t even talk about her in my non-spoiler review. I knew the moment her name came out of my lips. I would just be like I have to talk about everything she does she is like look she’s still not my favorite character.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3 Review
I love her so much I love me some Hilda a little bit more but Zelda proved she is that bitch this season sorry that witch this season so good what she does and how she saves everyone it comes back it reminds me a lot of members that in the first season. Where they’re doing the exorcism as she comes and says Y’all need some real witches to help.
She does that this season and brings her back to life that goes Hilda starts messing with we’ll talk about how they all fight the coven of the other pagan coven that is so good Hilda good coming and being a badass. If you’ve seen the trailer or if you’ve seen the season by now you know about that carnival that rose into town but you may not know that their dark pagan old gods like they’re from they don’t even worship the Dark Lord.
They’re from before that time period and I loved them so much this season they’re so deliciously evil the stuff they do to our characters. It’s insane to what the way they like to mess with Roz and Harvey and Theo and they send one of their own out to like recruit Theo in and feel falls in love with a boy.
I want them to be so happy together feel gets a boyfriend. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3 Spoiler. I’m so happy about that and he turns out to not be a scumbag which was pretty obvious like once you know if you know that character the one that likes goes to work with people but ends up falling in love with them. He does and he ends up loving this new family you found.
I really like that so the covenants you know the pagan covens here they’re doing some bad stuff hurting all our people we have the time loop then we get to that final episode where our coven we just they go you know what we come in to fight y’all. They run into them earlier in the season have a weird interaction they like to turn. I don’t even want to talk about it because it frustrates me because it felt weird but it led to some badass moments where Hilda said spider lady you wanted to mess with me she makes a voodoo doll of her and snaps her into place that is the goriest scene of the whole season like it is nasty the way Hilda just turns us o into a ball I wish she would have dumped on her and said bye don’t mess with me or my family ever again.
