A series wherein active memories rise up which includes fable, comedy, technological knowledge, and comedy. There’s rampant demise, murderous robots, and cruel beasts in those stories and a certain stage of anxiety is ever-present. “The Tall Grass” and “All Through the House” are the only entries that experience natural horror, the latter of which provides a creature that makes Krampus look like a Mogwai. Automated Customer Service” and “All Through the House” appears to be Pixar shorts that have smoked some awful weed. In comparison, the mottled, impressionistic, almost clay-like look in “The Tall Grass” is one of the maximum striking aesthetics of the lot.
